HOOF IT BEING BACKED AHEAD OF DUKE OF YORK STAKES
HOOF IT runs in the Group Two Duke Of York Stakes at the Knavesmire on Wednesday and will be saddled by Ryan Moore. Kieron Fallon has rode him to his previous four wins but there’s a jockey change for his seasonal reappearance. There is doubts over whether the ground will be to soft for him on Saturday as he likes riding on the top of the ground, but support continues to flurry in for the 5-yo. If HOOF IT lands the Duke of York Stakes on Saturday it will be a novel Dante Festival hat-trick as he won it in 2010 and 2011 and it seems he has every chance. MASON could prove the biggest danger after an impressive performance at Newmarket and then again at the Guineas meeting over shorter.

After an incredible day on Saturday I suppose it was somewhat inevitable we would have a bit of a downer on Sunday. It was disappointing from our points of view struggling to notch winners up on the board. With five meetings to get stuck into today we look to bounce back to winning ways. We did land some valued EW money in the golf last night at Sawgrass with Johnson and Donald finishing in the placings. Good luck today and remember to go cautiously with early-week racing.
