Wednesday 16th May Selections

THREE COMPETITIVE DAYS OF GRADED ACTION KICKS OFF TODAY AT YORK

Graded action from York starts today and continues until Friday. The featured race today is the Duke Of York totepool Stakes where last season’s favourite HOOF IT takes on this season’s phenomenon MAYSON. Featured races later in the week include the Betfred Middleton Stakes and Betfred Dante Stakes tomorrow, as well as the Yorkshire Cup on Friday. It’s sure to be an action packed week with some great races and we will be here tipping every race, every day!

Good morning punters…!

The featured race of the day at 3pm is sure to throw up an entertaining spectacle with Richard Fahey’s MAYSON so impressive at Newmarket over both 5f and 6f has a huge chance of a treble with seasonal fitness over his nearest rival HOOF IT out of the Michael Easterby stable. The 5-yo hasn’t run for almost eight months but is a warm order in the market, a short 7/2 favourite. Richard Fahey last won this contest in 2009 with UTMOST RESPECT. Others to mention include the Kevin Ryan team, who fields two TIDDLIWINKS and BOGART he last landed this race in 2007 with AMADEUS WOLF with the older horses tending to have a chance in this race.

Saaed Bin Suroor has claims in an open looking contest with his gelding SOUL having been successful twelve months ago with DELEGATOR but he was somewhat disappointing in the Golden Shaheen.

Fahey talks highly of MAYSON who’s on an upward curve having coped well with the drop back in trip at Newmarket. He is drawn in stall two which is suggested to suit with them expecting to go up the middle of the track. Fahey see’s him every bit as good as UTMOST RESPECT but echoes he still has work to do on the ratings.

HOOF IT is drawn in stall eleven and won the 6f handicap on his reappearance twelve months ago, proving he can go well fresh. He went on to land the Stewards Cup and featured and went close in Group 1 company at Haydock in the autumn.

Despite a lack of a run and a poor draw in comparison to MAYSON it’s hard to oppose him here. HOOF IT has been on an upward curve over the past couple of seasons and has a good record at this course – horses for courses. He was debatably unlucky at Haydock in group 1 company when last seen and can make amends today.

He is drawn wide and double digit stalls don’t have a great record at this course, which may be something to bare in mind but we still fancy his class to shine through and land the Duke Of York totepool Stakes today.

We were created just 5 months ago on a Wednesday afternoon on 4th May 2011 but our idea and reasoning behind GYTO goes back a lot further! We have always had a keen passion for sport, specifically football and horse racing. Originally GYTO was created to spread news of profitable bets through retweeting or mentioning individuals. Almost a funnel echoing key ongoings in the sporting, social and gambling world. However, it progressed rapidly and after developing a few significant sources in the sporting world we began to tweet their selections that they occasionally offered combined with our extensive knowledge resulted in a superb strike rate gaining us huge recognition especially across twitter. We now offer horse racing selections every day of the week that is updated daily. We are always involved in some way or another in any big sporting occasion and will always offer our views and opinions. Everything we do is FREE of charge and is to help our followers to create a profit from any stake they wish to risk on our selections. This blog is used to update our daily level stakes profit & loss so the results are clear for everyone to see.
