GULF OF NAPLES THE ONE THE PUNTERS WANT FOR NORTHUMBERLAND PLATE

Gulf Of Naples has been declared second-favourite for Saturday’s John Smith’s Northumberland Plate at 12/1 despite trainer Mark Johnston stating a decision as to whether the Royal Ascot Gold Cup fourth Colt will even race won’t be made until much later in the week. He was well-supported for the Chester Cup back in May – if you remember, the conditions were woeful for a meeting that is usually gasping in sunshine. He finished a tired third that day off a mark of 101 and if given his chance on Saturday will be running off a mark of 107. He has of course proved his worth finishing a creditable fourth in a fiercely competitive renewal of the Royal Ascot Gold Cup where Frankie Dettori and Colour Vision were eventually victorious outstaying the field in tremendous fashion. His trainer also recently added that he has come out of that race well and is in very good shape with the cut in the ground unlikely to be of any inconvenience. Ile De Re who beat him in the Chester Cup is likely to run for Donald McCain and appreciates a mud-slog, whereas Jessica Harrington races the sole Irish challenger in Steps To Freedom who could easily pose a threat. Good morning punters!

We was on the ball yesterday as we posted Brighton, Beverley and Newbury late last night so you could snap up the early prices available. Especially on the daily double, which includes SHENA’S DREAM who won on her debut at Pontefract for William Haggas and is the type to do better saddled by Ryan Moore this evening. The second part of this evenings double is also an unbeaten filly, out of Amanda Perrett’s yard saddled by Jim Crowley SELFSAME. She won at Goodwood over a mile on her debut despite showing greenness and is likely to improve upon that effort and remain unbeaten tonight. The double pays 12/1 with Boyle Sports and represents a nice piece of value for this evenings racing.

Summary: It looks a potentially profitable card at Brighton today, especially keen on the chances of TOGA TIGER in the 5.15 but the action gets underway at 2.15 where STONESCRABSTOMORROW looks the likeliest winner. He is better than his comeback seventh over todays course and distance and with a strong pace in this race likely is a definite challenger who thrives off being delivered late. Imaginary Diva is likely to give him most to think about running creditably of late winning off this mark last year, and is saddled by Queally today. Kicken Off looks to be a warm order in the next but at the odds a chance is given to PETITE GEORGIA who represents a powerful yard with a strong pedigree. She wasn’t disgraced on her debut fourth at Lingfield and looks the most likely to capitalise if the favourite doesn’t turn up. The 3.15 is possibly the most competitive on the card and we are happy to give CLEAR SPRING another chance. He was held in his bid for a hat-trick latest but if forgiven does have plenty of scope for improvement. Amber Heights is most likely to follow him home. OOI LONG is given a chance in the next if going on the ground, after a solid effort at Yarmouth and there might be a slice of value in his price with Whiteoak Lady likely to have her supporters. But we wern’t all that convinced with her 20/1 win latest and are happy to take her on. RYEDALE LASS is handicapped to go close and shades the verdict, the least exposed out the bunch. On first looks in the 4.45 Renogotiate took the eye but with soft ground a slight concern BORDER ABBY can go in having looked progressive this season, albeit slowly. TOGA TIGER looks the bet of the day at Brighton and warrants the NAP having won twice over C&D in recent weeks ahead of the always consistent Avon Supreme. In the final race of the day LONG LOST LOVE is given the vote having failed to get home over further and is dropped back in trip today. She should fair all the better for it and saddled by the experienced Joe Fanning looks a valued bet to end proceedings.

About getyourtipsout

We were created just 5 months ago on a Wednesday afternoon on 4th May 2011 but our idea and reasoning behind GYTO goes back a lot further! We have always had a keen passion for sport, specifically football and horse racing. Originally GYTO was created to spread news of profitable bets through retweeting or mentioning individuals. Almost a funnel echoing key ongoings in the sporting, social and gambling world. However, it progressed rapidly and after developing a few significant sources in the sporting world we began to tweet their selections that they occasionally offered combined with our extensive knowledge resulted in a superb strike rate gaining us huge recognition especially across twitter. We now offer horse racing selections every day of the week that is updated daily. We are always involved in some way or another in any big sporting occasion and will always offer our views and opinions. Everything we do is FREE of charge and is to help our followers to create a profit from any stake they wish to risk on our selections. This blog is used to update our daily level stakes profit & loss so the results are clear for everyone to see.
