Thursday 19th July Selections

NATHANIEL CO FAVOURITE WITH SEA MOON FOR KING GEORGE VI ON SATURDAY

Nathaniel was a game winner on his seasonal reappearance at Sandown in the Coral-Eclipse just two weeks ago and justifies favouritism alongside Sea Moon. This week it seems everyone is talking about Sea Moon and how impressive he was landing his first group 2 success in the Hardwicke Stakes, just over three weeks ago. We wasn’t entirely convinced, as he ran a career best that day and will have to again progress to take his first Group 1. He has had one attempt before when finishing three-and a half lengths behind Masked Marvel – who is a 33/1 shot to land the odds this year. Of course, the ground and trip was against him that day and he has progressed markedly since then but at the prices he looks all too short. We would much rather take the 11/4 about Nathaniel than Sea Moon but as of yet have not entirely made our mind up. St Nicholas Abbey opened up a 2/1 short favourite for this race but has since drifted like a barge out to 5/2. Joseph O’Brien said he has been doing all of his best racing lately on left-handed tracks but he’s won on the round mile at the Curragh and so they are not concerned. Masked Marvel may well beoverpriced, out to 33/1 and Danedream may well still be capable of posing a threat in this ‘classy’ field. Good morning punters!

There is just two days until the King George VI and there has been a couple of movers in the lively market overnight. St Nicholas Abbey seems friendless and is on the drift out to 3/1 with @BoyleSports. NATHANIEL and Sea Moon are the ones they want after impressive performances in the Coral-Eclipse and the Hardwicke stakes respectively. Danedream has been nibbled at into 8/1 with Masked Marvel also taking a drift. It is a spectacular race this year and will take all the winning at the Curragh at 4.35pm on Saturday. Michael Owen still seeks his first classic success and hopes to have a chance with Brown Panther. A name you will all be familiar with. He returned to form winning well at Pontefract last month and has a squeak at 25/1. We will discuss the race in more detail a little later in the week and post our final selections on Friday night so you can grab the early prices. Of course, we put our faith in Nathaniel to land the Coral Eclipse and he did so in a gritty, game performance under Buick. It will be hard for us to oppose him and at the moment nothing is massively catching the eye. There has been a lot of talk regarding Danedream who may well make his presence felt alongside Sea Moon who has conditions to suit including trip and ground very much in his favour.

Focusing back on the here and now there are seven meetings to get stuck into today with Leicester already abandoned. Afternoon racing from Hamilton up in Scotland, Brighton on the coast and Killarney as the four-day festival concludes. There is some exciting evening racing from Bath, Leopardstown, Epsom and Doncaster and we will be posting tips for every race on another busy day’s racing.

About getyourtipsout

We were created just 5 months ago on a Wednesday afternoon on 4th May 2011 but our idea and reasoning behind GYTO goes back a lot further! We have always had a keen passion for sport, specifically football and horse racing. Originally GYTO was created to spread news of profitable bets through retweeting or mentioning individuals. We now offer horse racing selections every day of the week that is updated daily. We are always involved in some way or another in any big sporting occasion and will always offer our views and opinions. Everything we do is FREE of charge and is to help our followers to create a profit from any stake they wish to risk on our selections.
